PDF Signer App Reviews

I’ll be honest: I’m used to much more sophisticated PDF manipulation software such as NitroPDF on the PC. PDF Signer is… fine. It’s very basic. If you want to do some very minor annotation, or add a signature to a document and don’t care that it looks a little amateurish, it’s fine.

The application works well, BUT it does have a few loopholes. 1. NO TEXT ON THE DOCS. - When opening some of the PDF’s (my W-9 Tax Form for example,) the app doesn’t not open the PDF WITH ANY TEXT on the document. - Wierd? 2. THE APP CRASHES in the middle of filling in all of the empty fields that are NEEDED to be filled, (hence the need for the app in the first place.) When it crashes, one must START ALL OVER filling out the fields from the beginning! I have sent an email to the design company, we will see how quick they return the message and attempt to rectify the bugs. Good luck shopping!

Easy use and makes paperwork more professional. And appreciate the speedy updates when new OS debuts.

One of the few apps I’ve ever purchased, it does EXACTLY what it’s meant to do. The new version is cleaner, looks great and runs faster on Yosemite w/ my 2007 iMac!! I use it every day. The files remain small and it saves me lots of time to sign PDFs.

A waste of money. Signatures are opaque and blot out surrounding text on *.pdf documents. Easier to use Preview app already installed on iMac.

I’m always getting PDF’d docs emailed to me… needing immediate turnaround on signatures, dates and other small insertions. PDF Signer gets me done in under a minute. Not willing to struggle through Acrobat Pro or other heavyweight app for this every-week transaction (re-learn, struggle, forget how for next time).

I have used this App for the past 3 years and absolutely am grateful for the capabilities it has provided. Many times I have received urgent documents that need my attention and signature - and I was able to efficiently fill out and sign them within minutes. Thank you - Thank you! Great App

2015-Feb.20 >> This is a terrific app. It does just what I need. I sign documents, fill in blanks and edit things out (with “white space” erasing over a white background document). Only one suggestion: please put a preferences section to the app that include a preferred font type as a default. I hate changing the font every time to the right font and the right point. Fix that, and this app will get 5 stars. I still highly recommend it without that little enhancement.

I am a pediatrician and I amconstantly getting forms to fill out. I’ve tried 2 other apps and tried to get Apple Preview to do the job. This one does the best job and is very easy to use. It saves me time and reduces manual completion of the myriad forms I receive. It also allows me to respond quickly and saves me postage.

I just bought this after reading the most current reviews. The signature is garbage compared to the Docusign app. It’s not smooth like theirs. I just wanted this for my PC and Docusign wasn’t an option. It’s not intuitive at all. Not at all what I expected. Try a different one.

Works Flawless! With an image editor you can make an signature with transparent background and the signatures just look real when added with this software. You can’t do everything on it, you can’t edit a signature, just add it on. Be sure you could do that with a good image editor that you already have, but this program make it fast, praticle in a good work flow.

This program is poorly conceived. I agree with a previous user that the signature is opaque and there should be no need for the user to attempt to clear the background of the signature, especially when it is scanned on white paper. There is also a problem in terms of sizing the signature. After wasting an hour fooling around with it I will simply scan and sign my documents. They need to go back to the drawing board. Unfortunately I wasted almost $10.00.

What a waste! Could not find instructions for use but while searching I discovered that I can accomplish the same thing for free using Preview!

This is one of the most useful apps in my dock, and has had the least bit of bugginess since day one. Amazing job guys!

If you’ve been using Mac OS X Preview to try fill in docs, you’ve probably wanted to shoot yourself, or some hapless coder in Cupertino, every time you use it. This product (PDF Signer) is totally worth the money. I think I paid nearly 10 dollars. There may be better ones out there, but this one definitely works well and if you buy it you’ll quickly complete the tasks of filling out whatever form it is you’re trying to fill out. Like preview, the process of recording your signature from the track pad is lousy. But the process of filling out the rest of the doc is quick. Stop wasting your life messy around with Preview. Buy this (or another app) today.

As the title says. The owner give responses back when you need them and seems to be involved in the app afterword. It works for large documents and your signature is already scanned when you need it. I expect the app will have more features as time goes on.

This app is a dream come true for me, I run my own business and I’m always on the go. I used to have to print and scan all tax forms and agreements, but now I can just fill forms and sign them directly on the PDF. So simple to use, it’s amazing how much time and effort this saves me. BIG THANKS for an amzing app, worth every penny!

I do not like that the text becomes permanent once the document is saved and you cannot go back and change text. If that were fixed it would be a very good app.
